Unspeakable testimonies I have of the joy received from serving in my divine calling. I embraced my 1st gift, then my gifts were multiplied! No weapon formed against God's anointed shall prosper. The work that God has ordained to go forth shall prevail, against all odds.
The primary scripture is the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30, which describes the servant who receives one talent and buries it out of fear. He is called a "wicked and slothful servant" for his inaction, his talent is taken, and he is cast out. The parable teaches that one should not bury the gifts God has given but should use them to be faithful and productive.

Lisa's wonderful father always applies self-composed quotes to countless situations. They were always spontaneous and, often, made everyone who heard them laugh! The unique aspect about his quotes was that they always rang true to the situation-at-hand and he was always sincere about what he said.. He had a unique way of adding facial expressions to his spoken quotes. People often greeted us with one of his quotes and added the same facial expressions that he would use, when he spoke them! This spontaneous greeting style sparked laughter all over, again! His vibrant and lively spirit is still alive in us, today!
